Un-PreCompose

From aescript.com and by BatchFrame we can download this plugin, “Un-PreCompose is a plug-in for After Effects that allows you to select a pre-comp (nested composition) and extract all of its layers into the parent composition while maintaining each layers effects and other properties. You are given various options for maintaining or deleting properties from the pre-comp and the pre- comp itself.”

Ben Rollason from aescripts.com “Smart Precomposer allows you to precompose any type of layer and selectively move some attributes into the new precomp, while leaving the rest in the original comp. Once you get used to it, it gives you a whole new way of thinking about pre-composing.”

Crop nested compositions to fit the image contents

Paul Tuersley help us with this script you can crop nested compositions to fit the image contents. Useful in cases like Photoshop imports where precomps are created as document size. It makes precomp layers easier to work with as their bounding boxes fit the images, and can speed up rendering by reducing void areas.
