The lack of motion blur for corner-pinning in AE makes the whole Mocha / AE setup fairly useless, but since Mocha is such a great tracker, it was worth working out how to add motion blur in AE from the corner-pin data.

I go on to use some of these techniques to build an earthquake effect that you can easily adjust with a series of sliders. The tutorial is aimed at intermediate After Effects users who have some experience with the program and are looking to learn more about the power of expressions.

Fabio Cunha used the CC Page Turn filter to Splice Together A Quick Filmstrip Animation for AEtuts. Rich Young says that It’s surprisingly effective considering it was made with a lowly page turn filter instead of Freeform or a 3D package.
