This video tutorial shows how to find and apply the hidden [project] templates in After Effects so that you can kick-start your work with a full project ready to edit. AND, you will learn how to apply the hidden Expressions in After Effects to your own layers to give them professional looking animations without having to know any expressions yourself!
It’s a small, very simple plugin which replaces textures by using a UV map (like maltaannon’s youveelizer, but with much fewer features).
Motion tile can lead to oddly-shaped tessellations in the edges of the image. However, YY_MorphShake simply stretches the far edges, eliminating the strange shapes.
Due to the stretching, YY_MorphShake behaves poorly when dealing with geometric shapes and parallel lines, as they will be distorted.
YY_Ramp+ provides a clone of the ramp effect, with more parameters, like opacity and blend modes
A tool that lets you know which part of your picture is too bright or too dark by pointing the bad pixels directly on your footage. Similar to the way zebra-stripping works on digital cameras.
A Pixel Bender filter to pixelate your image into circles and rings. Highly useful to create LED screen effect or a porous surface effect. Can also be used to create new abstract, artistic version of images and footage. It has optional shading that helps you to simulate spherical and torus objects.
This script will duplicate the selected layers and if any of the layers have expressions referencing any of the layers being duplicated it will update the expressions to point to the newly duplicated layers. Might make more sense if you watch the demo.
If you’ve ever accidentally changed something in your comp and suddenly hundreds of expressions get disabled and after you undo you realize the expression did not get re-enabled? Well if this has happened to you this script will be a life saver.
A pixel bender plugin that mimics the color grading in Martin Scorsese’s “The Aviator” otherwise called 2-strip and 3-strip technicolor. The code is based on snippets found on VFXTalk.com, Blender source code & Aviator VFX behind the scene website.
